RTG DEPLOYS TECHNOLOGY GIVING INDUSTRIAL FIRMS MORE EFFICIENT AND LESS EXPENSIVE ACCESS TO MONITORING DATA

Reno, NV, May 30 - Raven Technology Group (RTG) announced today that it has released a Beta version of the RNA-1845, a product that promises to redefine the way industrial companies monitor their equipment.

“We have long-standing, close ties with both the industrial and technology sectors,” said Eric Juillerat, President and CEO of RTG. “We recognized the need for a device that requires no advanced programming and captures monitoring data from existing industrial transmitters and then delivers it via Ethernet to a web browser. So that’s what we invented.”

Juillerat said the unit not only makes access to data more efficient, but it leverages existing investments in field devices by mitigating the pain and cost of transitioning to new technology.

“Many industrial companies today are faced with the painful and expensive process of installing newer transmitters, control systems, and view systems,” he said. “The RNA delivers all the benefits of modern technology with no need for downtime, and at a fraction of the cost. It’s a win-win for the plant and maintenance people.”

The RNA-1845 converts a standard, 4-20 milliamp signal from an industrial transmitter and converts it to Ethernet. That signal can then be delivered to an HMI computer within the plant, to a traditional PLC, or password protected and transmitted to a web browser on the Internet.

“The RNA retrieves data from your existing equipment and delivers it right to your finger tips- whether you’re in the plant, in the field, or on the road,” Juillerat said.
